"Pre assessment for surgery"

About: Outpatients / Pre-op Assessment Unit

(as the patient),

I recently had a pre-op assessment for a total knee replacement organised. Izzy a newly qualified nurse completed my assessment with Lynn. If lzzy hadn’t said she was newly qualified, I wouldn’t have known. She was professional, appeared confident and knew what she was talking about. Lynn came to do a physical and heart assessment. She was professional and easy to talk to. Both women were very pleasant and reassuring. I left feeling I had the information I required for the planning of my surgery.

Dear Happycustomer1

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, as a manager it is always great to have positive comments about your staff and department. I know that my staff strive to ensure that the patient is at the centre of everything that we do, and it is lovely to hear that we are achieving this.

I am sure that your lovely comments will boost Izzy confidence, she is a valued member of staff, I will be glad to pass on your comments to her.

I would also like to take this opportunity to wish you all the best with your planned surgery and a speedy recovery as well

Kind regards

Sandra
