I had seen my GP about a possible precancerous lesion on my vulva. I'm a Nurse myself, so I knew a little about what the treatments might be if it turned out to be cancerous and I was very worried about it.

I saw a Gynae Consultant at Lincoln County Hospital - she was so welcoming and friendly, and made me laugh. She was very caring and kind, and put me at ease straight away. She reassured me it wasn't cancer, prescribed some creams and advised she would follow me up in a joint gynae/dermatology clinic in three months
