I was extremely nervous going for day surgery with it being my first time getting any sort of procedure.

My nurse Sam was extremely thorough, helpful and reassuring. She was super chatty and able to inform me loads about what my morning would look like.

Getting my cannula and having bloods taken was quick and painless which was really appreciated. Sam put me completely at ease and her positivity was infectious which everyone could use in that scenario. 

The entire ward was an extremely happy and positive environment which went a long way for me. I felt extremely lucky it was the ward I was able to attend for my first procedure. I can not thank the ward team enough every single one of them was fantastic.
