"The staff are lovely and so kind"

I recently attended the Women's Health Clinic in Wishsaw General for an investigation procedure. The appointment had been cancelled twice at the hospital nearest me so I was very pleased to get an appointment having waited a good while.

Dr Chakravorty was the consultant. Before the procedure, she explained everything very clearly and really listened to what I had to say. This was reassuring as I was very nervous.

During the procedure Dr Chakravorty kept me informed. The two nurses, Fran and Julie who were present, were amazing, distracting me and keeping me calm, they had such a reassuring manner.

I wasn't rushed and they made sure I was fine after the procedure. Having waited a while, it was great to be seen. The nurse at the reception of the clinic was friendly and kind. It was a busy clinic but there was a calm atmosphere, even though it's in a very small space. The lady cleaning in there corridor was thorough and quietly working away.

If you ever have to go to this clinic, don't worry the staff are lovely and so kind. It could do with being a bit larger as it looked like it maybe had been a ward at some point.
