(as the patient),

I'm currently 7 months pregnant so I am continuously visiting Greenoaks centre. The waiting times are horrendous.

I find the whole concept of giving patients appointment times, when you are waiting an hour plus after the appointed time you should of been seen, ridiculous! It really puts me off using RDGH maternity services.

Nobody minds a slight wait but you know it doesn.t bode well when there is a sign within the reception area stating you could be an hour after your appointment time.

Do Greenoaks think people dont work or have other children to go and see to? The situation there needs a massive overhaul.

Dear Loukirk, thank you for your post on Patient Opinion. Your feedback has been passed on to the Department Manager and the Head of Midwifery at the Trust and they are very sorry to hear that you have experienced long waiting times at the Greenoaks Clinic and extend their apologies for this. The service do try to keep to appointment times, but recognise that clinics do run behind, as often, until the patients arrive, we do not know how complex issues may be. The Head of Midwifery and Department manager will work together to address this problem and are grateful that you have highlighted your concerns.
