"Excellent treatment"

Attended my surgery for an appointment with my diabetes nurse, Anne.  I was unwell - coughing, hypertension, tachycardia, sob, pain.

She spoke to GP, Dr Milburn, and he seen me immediately despite it being his lunch hour. He took loads of bloods . A full MOT and examination. Prescribed meds  and organised an immediate CXR at Stobhill hospital. He spent his full lunch hour with me. He organised a follow up appointment for the next day and advised he would phone me that day if my bloods were back in time.

I attended Stobhill for my CXR and was seen immediately. Total time from diabetes nurse appointment  GP then CXR at Stobhill = 2 hours!!  

Well done Dr Milburn and Anne the diabetes nurse. What a team. You both went above and beyond. As a medical professional myself, my patients often slate the NHS and GPs. I can’t thank Ashton Medical Practice enough. 10/10 service.
