"Extremely kind and willing to listen to my experience"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Gynaecology (Ward 49)

(as a service user),

I was referred to the menopause clinic by my GP as their treatments were no longer working. Pauline (Menopause specialist nurse) was extremely kind and willing to listen to my experience. Pauline took my views about what was important to me and what I wanted from my treatment into account when planning investigations and interventions. Pauline always took the time to explain everything and empathise with my experiences. Pauline was very approachable during appointments and inbetween appointments if further advice or clarification was required. I am very happy with the service I am receiving from this clinic and Pauline in particular.

Dear Clara2,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback about your experience at the Menopause Clinic with Pauline.

I am really pleased to hear that you felt listened to, supported, and involved in decisions about your care. It is important to me that patients feel their experiences and priorities are fully considered, and I’m glad this came across during your appointments. I also appreciate your kind comments about communication, approachability, and the support provided between appointments.

Thank you again for your thoughtful and positive feedback. It is greatly appreciated, and I am very pleased to hear that you are happy with the care you are receiving. I will share this lovely feedback with Pauline.

Kind regards,

Nikki
