"Friendly visits"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Rehabilitation (inpatient) Hospital at Home / Hospital at Home Team Falkirk

(as the patient),

The nurses come and see me at home.

They always show care and dedication and have helped me a lot.  They are always on time and friendly.  I was in hospital to start with because I had an infection in the metal part of my amputeed leg - it was septic but they operated and cleaned it up.  The nurses then came from rehabilitation to see me at home and give me antiobiotic injections.

I am very grateful.

Just one thing though, they have left the yellow sharp bins behind and I don't know what to do with them.

Dear scutumcf4

Thank you so much for the review of the care you received from the various teams within Forth Valley. I am glad we were able to get you back to good health during the difficult time with your leg. I hope it continues to recover.

Please can you call me on 01324 616116 to discuss the sharps bin and I will arrange to have it uplifted from you. I apologise this was left in your home.
