I took my husband to Primrose lane Medical Centre Vaccination Service for his 1st dose of the Shingles Vaccine.
My husband has Early Onset Dementia, diagnosed over 9 years ago and has very limited understanding.
He is very wary of any medical appointments.
We were taken very quickly, which was great and the nurse was very understanding and welcoming. Although my husband moved when the vaccination was given she managed to achieve the goal and it was a very successful appointment. We couldn’t have asked for more.
I was delighted as I often have a feeling of dread before medical appointments that he has to attend. This couldn’t have been better.
