"I felt supported and looked after throughout"

About: Balfour Hospital / Day Unit

(as the patient),

I recently attended the Day Unit for a colonoscopy. I was absolutely terrified and very emotional.

All of the staff were utterly fantastic, so caring and reassuring. I felt supported and looked after throughout the process and procedure. I also received excellent and highly skilled care from the consultant and nurses looking after me. 

I am so grateful for this care and could not have managed the nerve wracking and unpleasant procedure without their support!
