"Orthodontic treatment during double jaw surgery journey"

As a patient who has been in the system awaiting double jaw surgery for a sustained amount of time, the care I have received at Lauriston, particularly over the past few years, has been excellent. 

Dr Ritchie not only provides exemplary orthodontic treatment within his clinic, but is emphatic, advocates for his patients and is always upbeat and ready with a joke or a chat to put you at ease. He takes the time to listen to any worries or concerns, explains everything clearly, and makes you feel genuinely heard and supported.

What sets him apart from previous orthodontic care I have received is that, I believe, his practice goes far beyond correcting an overbite or aligning teeth, it is his ability to see the person behind this. From the very beginning, he has treated me, not as a case or a dental problem, but as an individual - I feel truly lucky to have had him as an orthodontist during the latter part of my journey. 

The nurses - Lesley, Mhairi, Kirsty and Megan, to name a few - share the same genuine interest in their patients and create a really lovely environment for treatment. They are knowledgeable about their practice and professional through and through. Mhairi’s restaurant recommendations are also fantastic! 

Although my treatment at Lauriston is not yet complete, I am wholly grateful for the care I have received from all those mentioned above, and others.
