"Thoroughly efficient and professional"

About: St John's Hospital / Respiratory Physiology

(as the patient),

I was referred for lung function tests by my GP due to having multiple chest infections over a short period of time. I was told to expect to possibly wait for several weeks for the appointment.

I contacted the Respiratory Physiology team, led by Wendy and was given an appointment for 3 days later. I was delighted.

During the testing process I was put at ease by Leigh and advised what to expect and how to perform the test.

Leigh was extremely patient and listened to all my concerns.

The whole process was thoroughly efficient and professional and I cannot thank them enough.

Thank you for leaving your feedback for our Service at St Johns. We totally understand how undergoing tests when you have felt unwell for so long can be very daunting and I am very happy that Leigh managed to put you at ease and gave you the time to express your concerns and symptoms. I hope that you receive treatment in a timely manner and start to feel a bit better soon. Take Care!
