"Exceptional care"

About: St John's Hospital / General Medicine

(as a relative),

My sister was recently admitted to ward 8 at St. John’s Hospital, Livingston . Her welcome to the ward was exceptional. When she arrived to the bay with her family the staff immediately made themselves available to her and her family. The staff nurse went of to find some chairs for her family. Meantime the other nurse introduced herself and started to get to knowing her and her family. The family knew that this was going to be a good experience. The staff are knowledgeable, experienced and kind .

The family are extremely grateful for their care . Doctors , nurses and the physiotherapist have all been supportive to my sister and her family.

Thank you so much for your kind words about the staff in ward 8.

I will ensure that this is shared with the team. It is essential to make patients feel welcome and safe on their arrival to the wards and positive feedback is appreciated.
