"Back pain"

About: General practices in Ayrshire & Arran

(as a service user),

Had tried different establishments to help my severe back pain. It was over Christmas so couldn't get appointment with my own GP's physiotherapist until January. Paid privately for a chiropractor. Didn't help much. When eventually saw my GP's physiotherapist felt more confident in his diagnosis and with the exercises pain seems to be improving.

Dear telescopiumjd49

Thank you so much for taking the time to share feedback on your healthcare experience.

I am sorry to hear that you suffered with severe back pain. However, it is heartening to hear that the Physiotherapist at your GP Practice was able help and provide some suitable exercises which is improving your pain. This is a lovely example of the person centred care that we strive to deliver.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients and it will be my pleasure to ensure your lovely comments are shared appropriately. To ensure I get your kind comments to the correct person, can you please email the name of the practice (we can do so anonymously if you prefer), to HSCPAdmin@aapct.scot.nhs.uk.

Please accept my best wishes for your ongoing recovery and thank you once again for taking the time to acknowledge your care experience.

Kind Regards

Danielle
