Having a knee replacement is never a pleasant experience, but I have to say that my experience at the National Treatment Centre was really excellent. 

Mr. Rehman, the surgeon and his team were all excellent. 

As an ex-nurse, I can be very critical of nursing care, but the attention I received from the nursing staff was amazing. 

I was offered a knee replacement at the NTC, as the waiting list was a lot shorter than the Lothian Health Board. I would recommend anyone to take advantage of this if offered.
