"I felt very safe in their hands"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Gynaecology (Ward 32)

(as the patient),

I was recently admitted to Ward 32 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley. I was to have a hysterectomy which required me to stay for a few days to recover. Every member of staff I encountered was wonderful…kind, caring & considerate. They were also very knowledgeable  & I felt very safe in their hands.

The consultant, Dr Naheed, from the moment I met her a few months before, was just amazing. I was very apprehensive about everything that was happening & what was to follow. I trusted her implicitly from our first encounter & she has, quite literally, given me a new lease of life.

I could not have asked for a better experience & I am so grateful for the care that they provided.

Dear Murr26

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience following your recent stay in Ward 32. Your kind words mean a great deal to the whole team.

I’m delighted to hear that you felt safe, well cared for, and supported throughout your admission. The staff work incredibly hard to provide compassionate, person‑centred care, and it is wonderful to know this made such a positive difference during your recovery.

I’m especially pleased to read your feedback about Dr Naheed. Your trust and confidence in her, and the impact this has had on your journey, will mean a great deal to her and the wider team.

Thank you again for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback. I wish you continued good recovery and the very best moving forward.

Kind regards,

Nikki
