I want to praise the professionalism and dedication of the staff in the QE imaging team, where my husband had a scan recently. They had struggled through the dark and difficult snowy conditions and were ready to start work at 8am as normal. As such the scan went ahead, even though the weather conditions had made us question this before leaving home. Business as usual - thank you!
Special shout out to Ellie and Martin for first class patient care.
One thing I’d like to raise, if I may, is the difficulty in making contact with the department by telephone. We feel this process needs to be improved and made more accessible for the patient.
