"An amazing team"

Had day surgery recently at the New Victoria in Glasgow; Laprascopic bilateral ovarian cystectomy for endometriosis.

Albeit a scary day and have some recovery ahead of me, I would like to feedback my positive experience.

The full team were absolutely amazing and I don’t think I could have coped as well with the day as I did, had it not been for the very skilled staff.

Dr. Powell was my consultant and she explained my procedure well and gave me reassurance. My anaesthetist Angus did a great job too and I felt safe in his hands…cannot remember the anaesthetic nurse name but a big thanks to her!

Vince looked after me in recovery- thank you Vince, you were amazing and let me chat like a budgie (not sure what I was saying!) but he really reassured me and was obviously very expert at his job.

And to Megan, my day surgery nurse for the day; she was absolutely amazing! What a lovely nurse and did an exemplary job looking after me. No request was too much and I really felt comfortable and in good hands with her. Thank you so much Megan, you really have helped the 1st part of my recovery!

Well done to an amazing team, who do this day in and day out, but most importantly made me feel like an individual and helped me through a very scary time.
