"credit to their profession"

About: The Princess Royal Maternity Unit / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I was referred for an urgent scan by my GP and within 2 days I had an appointment at ward 56, Glasgow Royal Infirmary. I felt so strongly about the care I received that I had to post here and say that Gabriel and the dayshift team on New Year’s Eve and their care was exceptional. Despite a busy busy ward their care far exceeded that I’m ashamed to say I’ve went private hoping for in the past. For the first time in a long time I felt truly heard and respected by everyone I encountered during my appointment. They truly are a credit to their profession. I feel a restored sense of hope moving forward with my endometriosis care. Thank you all

Dear mayrj97,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of Ward 56 —especially on New Year’s Eve. I’m delighted to hear that Gabriel and the day‑shift team made you feel truly heard and respected despite the ward being so busy.

Your words mean a great deal to the team. I’ll make sure your feedback is shared with Gabriel and all colleagues on Ward 56. It’s wonderful to know you’re feeling a renewed sense of hope as you move forward with your endometriosis care.

Wishing you all the very best.

Kind regards,

Nikki
