"Thankful for the positive impact"

About: Great Oaks Inpatient Unit / Mulberry Ward

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

She was treated with respect and kindness. Her needs were taken into consideration and accommodated. I think everyone went above and beyond and couldn't have been more helpful and couldn't have done more. She was sectioned, but all the staff made it a positive experience  Being admitted onto Mulberry Wad, undoubtedly saved her life. Northing could have been better.

We would like to thank the whole team who have helped when she has been struggling, supported her and always been there when she needed them.

Thanks to Emily, Abby, Peace, Dan, Dr Roshni, Gemma and all the others, we're sorry we can't remember your names but remember your faces and the positive impact you've had, thanks for all you do.

Thank you so much for feeding back on your experience. We are so pleased your loved one had a positive experience in a difficult situation. Its never easy when detained under the Mental Health Act and we always strive to try and ease the distress. We wish you and your loved one all the best for the future.

Regards

Martin (Matron)
