About: Crisis Mental Health / Decisions Unit (DU)

(as a service user),

I was at my place of residence and whilst having paranoid and delusional thoughts are normal for me, the ‘voices’ were hounding me and giving me a hard time so like usual when I feel a little defeated and unable to escape or better myself I have suicidal thoughts. Not actions but thoughts. So I sought help from services. I ended up at a place of safety in the decisions unit. I only stayed one night this time as I felt with this stay and a bit of medication, I feel strong enough to go back into the war zone of the community to try and fight the good fight.
