"Cataract surgery"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Cataract Unit

(as the patient),

I recently had both cataracts removed and received my new prescription glasses.

I am so grateful to Dr Wheeldon  and her team for their care throughout the procedure.

They made me feel so comfortable and at ease as I was pretty anxious.

My stepfather was an optician, he always said there is nothing more precious than your sight.

The Ophthalmology team from referral to procedure are a very precious asset to NHS Fife.

Dear Aquacupar,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share such kind and thoughtful feedback.

We’re delighted to hear that you had a positive experience and that Dr Wheeldon and the Ophthalmology team were able to support and reassure you throughout your treatment. We understand how daunting the process can feel, and it’s heartening to know that the care provided helped put you at ease. I will pass on your thanks to Dr Wheeldon and the team.

Best wishes and Merry Christmas,

Stacey
