"Excellent Care for father after gallstone surgery"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / 3 South Craigavon Area Hospital / 4 North Surgical

(as a relative),

My father has been an inpatient with gallstones in both wards 4 North and 3 South at Craigavon Area Hospital recently. The care he has received has been nothing short of exceptional. Special mention to Niamh, Steph and the nurses of 3 South for taking such personal and dedicated care of my father.

Every time I have visited, the ward is spotless, the nurses are super helpful and welcoming and Dad couldn’t be in better hands. I have worked as a doctor in England and Ireland and these 2 surgical wards are the best I have seen. No call bell goes unanswered, nothing is too much trouble and I’m sure the patient outcomes are excellent when they are nursed in such a healing and friendly environment.

Lovely to meet you in person on ward, and your kind words to all the staff where so positive and lifted staff morale great in the build up to Christmas madness. Wishing your daddy all the best in his recovery in rehab, I will ensure domestic services are aware of the great job they are doing with ward cleanliness.
