I have taken my mother in law to this department on and off for some years. She is now 101 years old and recently needed some immediate advice followed by the necessary replacement of her false eye. Unsurprisingly at 101 years old my mother in law is no longer sprightly & a trip out needs some organising & flexibility. I found the care and attention and professionalism at the whole department to be of a consistently high standard...especially during the recent process of the measuring for / taking the impressions / colour matching / fitting of the new eye etc. In particular when details of a rearranged appointment today had not been passed on to the ophthalmologist (?) presumably by Blackpool (?) and we turned up just as she was leaving for the day (having assumed we had just not turned up) I was really impressed by her commitment to stay, sort out her patient and to see the job done & done well. A big thank you to all.
