"Usual mess"

My husband was taken in and put onto ward C22. As usual his medications were lost between departments. The nursing staff were generally uninterested in him and his care. Nursing staff told me they didn't want to be there and would rather work in Next to get money off their clothes! Was also told by nursing staff.........."what do you expect its weekend" His medication was changed by pharmacy and doctors who had never laid eyes on him. We made a complaint and then a letter arrived at our house stating that I was un professional! However, the care given in A&E was superb..............always is. Just worrying when the ward staff are totally dis-interested and doctors don't read past medical notes. I hate the fact we have to go to this hospital. I have 100% faith in A&E but panic when my husband has to be admitted to the wards. I honestly wish we lived somewhere else.
