"Urology clinic running late"

I attended an appointment at the Urology clinic recently. I am scheduled to see a consultant once a year for ongoing supervision of my condition. I arrived on time and was directed to a waiting area, where it was written on a notice board that waiting times were approximately 75 minutes as the clinic was running late. As I was attending the clinic during a working day, I was unable to wait this length of time and had to cancel my appointment.

The next available date was in September.
