The physiotherapists at the RAH hospital were great before my operation, helping me to get fitter for the procedure, every week pushing me a bit further.
It was great going to this class as people that were like me waiting to go for surgery and people who had been for surgery were very supportive and helpful, giving us some more information on what was in front of us, and explaining what I needed to know about the surgery was a benefit, and would help in understanding the recovery!
I was advised to stop smoking before the surgery, I had smoked from being a teenager to in my 60,s but knew that to help my recovery it had to be done. After 5weeks I am now of the fags!
I would like to thank the team of physiotherapist at the RAH hospital for your hard work, dedication and support - thank you Amy, Matthew, Mags and Gerry, much appreciated.
