"Gave me and my mum a positive experience"

My mum had an appointment with pre op nurse Sharon at Whiteabbey hospital.  Sharon honestly was fantastic to both me and my mum. She was exactly how i feel a nurse should be.  Professional, empathetic and with her knowledge was able to answer all our questions.  My mum and myself were both nervous going into this appointment but after chatting to Sharon we felt so much better about my mum's journey to come.  She was able to walk us through what to expect for my mum and provided us with information leaflets and took the time to go over them with my mum without overwhelming her or swapping her with information overload.  Following this appointment my mum also received a follow up call from a nurse Teresa who updated my mum on blood results.  Although i didn't speak to or interact with Teresa myself I could just tell by speaking to my mum that she had had a positive experience with Teresa too as mum was able to clearly explain to me what Teresa had told her and appeared so informed of next steps going ahead on her health journey which is an achievement for a woman in her 70s!  These two nurses have really given me and my mum a positive experience
