"Some emotional support and help with worries"

I referred my son into the service as he had experienced multiple changes in his life which involved a family breakdown, moving house and a new sibling. There were other issues going on aswell which were causing him to struggle with managing his emotions and also struggling with worries he was having about all kinds of things. I wanted some professional help for him but was unsure who could help with this initially until I came across the school nursing team.

Charlotte was absolutely amazing with my son, she would feedback to me aswell after appointments seeing him in school and would suggest things I could do or what books could help. He really liked Charlotte and engaged really well with her. I feel he got what he needed from Charlotte and he was introduced to a worry monster which he found helped too.

I would recommend the service and Charlotte to anyone and wouldn’t hesitate to refer back in if we needed support it’s such a valuable service and a peace of mind to know support is available if your children are struggling with their mental health.
