I had planned Breast Surgery in Altnagelvin in August. Mr Diggin, my surgeon was amazing, kind, caring and explained everything in great detail to a very nervous patient who had never been in theatre!
The staff in the Breast Care Team and Ward 43 are all absolute angels. As a healthcare employee and service user I have seen both the good and the bad within our Health Service but Mr Diggin, Ward nurses, Theatre staff, Ancilliary staff that have been involved in my care are amazing and a credit to our service.
Other areas could learn a lot from this team!
