I wanted to have a PSA test, I sent in an e consult.

I was given a link to click on which I did, it said turn up at Windsor House Derriford. So I did, but I was sent away as I wasn't on the system as you can't just turn up. I had to book through Swiftqueue, so I booked through Swiftqueue, there was nothing swift about it! Other people would have given up if I wasn't so determined so would I.

I booked an appointment for two weeks after my first appointment. I went up to Windsor House the second time and was turned away as I wasn't on the system, the Drs hadn't authorised it. Beacon Medical are giving out the wrong information and not authorising at the econsult stage which isn't happening.

I went to the surgery with my wife who spoke to the receptionist who emailed an econsult form, within half an hour I had a message to say rebook, so I rebooked for a third time. So over the period of a month I eventually got my PSA blood test.

In my opinion, Beacon Medical and this system aren't fit for purpose, lots of people would have given up and this could have been catastrophic.

The service has been atrocious.
