"Going above and beyond"

I would like to express my appreciation for the outstanding care I received from SN Ellen during my pre assessment for surgery in the City Hospital. Throughout the process, there were a number of unexpected delays due to the need for additional investigations before I could be cleared for surgery. Despite these challenges, she consistently demonstrated exceptional professionalism, compassion and care.

Ellen was proactive in addressing each issue as it arose. She actively chased results, communicated clearly with me about what was happening, and did everything she could to ensure the process moved forward as quickly and smoothly as possible. Her efforts went far beyond what I would usually expect, and her determination to support me during a stressful time made a significant difference to me.

I think this really shows she is deeply committed to the wellbeing of the patients in her care. Her kindness, efficiency, and willingness to go the extra mile really makes a difference.

I am incredibly grateful for the support she provided to me and would like her to know I got my surgery and I’m recovering well. Thank you Ellen!!
