"My sister's amazing care"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Neurosurgery (Ward 64 – 66)

(as a relative),

My sister was admitted with a brain bleed.  As a previous medical professional, I have been in various hospitals throughout Scotland, so I write with plenty of ward dynamics therefore want to give praise where it is fully deserved.  From the top down it went beyond professionalism, which there was an abundance to care above and beyond to not only my sister but to her 4 siblings.  It's definitely a gold star ++++.  They were like angels whose wings were inside their uniforms

Thank you Ward 66

Dear statusbp78,

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about the excellent care your sister received from our Ward 66 team. Hearing from you about the support we provided to you and your family means a great deal, it really does make a difference to the team, and they really appreciate hearing from their patients and their families.

As Lead Nurse I am incredibly proud to hear that our nurses were professional and supportive to you, your sister and your family. I will ensure that your feedback is shared with the team.

Best wishes for your sister's recovery,

Pamela (Philp)

Lead Nurse Neurosurgery & OMFS
