"Wonderful, compassionate, person centred care"

I attended the Greenock Sandyford for a coil check as I had not felt the threads in a long time and after getting a smear I asked my clinic nurse to check and she couldn't see. The nurse who checked in the sandyford put me at total ease, super professional and honestly such a credit to the service for what is quite an invasive thing. She was so gentle, provided constant reassurance and just had such a lovely professional manner.

The threads couldn't be found so I needed a scan. I attended the central sandyford in Glasgow for this and the consultant who performed the scan  was honestly amazing. I explained I have PTSD - Non medical or sexual related but I do generally have a heightened stress with anything due to it. She put me at incredible ease and explained everything to me. Showed me the scan on the monitor. Told me exactly what was required should I need a replacement and made the whole thing seamless. Wonderful, compassionate, person centred care. Honestly so impressed with everyone I encountered and thank you! Thankfully the coil is on place 🤣
