"Such a great team"

I recently had to go in for surgery as a day case, being a nurse it was certainly different being the patient, but was a good perspective of seeing how a patient feels.

Having not had surgery before I was of course apprehensive and unsure what to expect fully. 

I want to feedback what a great experience it was though, all of the staff are just so friendly and helpful. The whole process was explained to me, I was reassured and assisted to prep for surgery, all questions were answered and information given on things I hadn't even considered.

Surgery itself seemed to be over and done with quickly and I was soon back on the unit enjoying the best Marmite on toast and tea on tap :-) I really can't thank everyone enough for how at ease I was made to feel, and how well I was looked after, such a great team.
