About: North Devon District Hospital / Medical Assessment Unit (Alexandra Ward) North Devon District Hospital / Therapies

(as a relative),

My Elderly Dad fell. He was admitted. He had a TIA and another fall.

He was ready to be discharged.

My elderly mum has been main carer. Was overwhelmed with what she has to do.

I was stressed how to keep them both safe. Everything felt out of control

Then Vicky and Harry ( I think from the physio team) just sat and listened to us all with such empathy and kindness. Explained things, gave us good caring advice.

I just wanted to say a heart felt thank you to everyone on Alexander ward especially Sammy and Finn Vicky and Harry. You may think we've moved on and forgotten, we won't. Hope you get to read this.

I am so pleased that you and your Mum felt listened to and supported while your Dad was on Alex ward. I hope your Dad is recovering well.

Thank you so much for taking the time to thank the team and individuals involved. Both Harry and Vicky work within our therapy team and I will ensure this is passed on to them. I am pleased they were able to support you all at such a stressful time and really hope your dad is recovering well.
