"People seen before us"

About: Kings Cross Health and Community Care Centre / GP Out of Hours

(as a service user),

We were given an appointment at 5pm for our 2 week old baby and we were not seen until 6pm. A member of staff advised us that we should have been seen earlier and that people behind us in the queue had been taken before us.

Dear plutorc65

Thank you for taking the time to post this feedback.

Firstly, sorry to hear you had to contact our service and I hope your 2 week old baby is doing well now.

Secondly, I would like to apologise for the wait that you had to be seen. I would also like to take the opportunity to look into this a bit further and see what the reasons were for the delay and for other patients to be seen before your baby. To do this I would need some further details which you can pass on through the Patient Experience Team on tay.feedback@nhs.scot.

Thank you again for your feedback and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best Wishes

Dr Shawkat Hasan - Clinical Director, NHS Tayside GP OOH Service.
