"Kept us very well informed as parents"

About: Falkirk Community Hospital / Opthalmology

(as a parent/guardian),

My little girl has been going to ophthalmology for a good few years now. As parents the treatment was something we had to learn and understand and get used to and this was even so for my little girl. She was super shy, reluctant etc at the beginning however the treatment then became part of our daily life and she happily wears her glasses now and has recently been discharged.

I truly believe my little girl's experience and successful treatment was down to the fantastic work by Alison, she is so calm and patient with my little girl and just has a lovely genuinely caring manner whilst still being able to carry out the complex observations in a child friendly way which is a true skill.

My little girl struggled if she didn’t see Alison and this was reflected through the examination results. Alison kept us very well informed as parents who were clueless to everything, she explained everything and probably more than once! So we just wanted to express our appreciation and thank you to Alison. My little girl will miss coming to see you!

Dear Cetusnz65,

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to feedback your daughters experience of Alison from the Eye Clinic. I will pass this on to both Alison and her line manager and I am sure that she will be delighted to hear that she has made a difference to your daughter.

Warm regards
