"Long waiting list, don’t know where to turn"

My partner chased referral for our 4 year old who’s snoring is to the point where she is gasping in her sleep. We have followed all advice from NHS forums and sought out research on sleeping position techniques but with no improvement in symptoms.

According to the secretary the referral is still being triaged and they decide if it is urgent. If not it can be up to one year before my child is seen. 

I feel that this is completely inadequate for any child in the UK. I appreciate there are numerous service users and there is a high incidence of such sleep problems.

I am waiting for further help but don’t know where to turn because my daughter’s sleep is getting worse. She is only 4! 

Any help or advice would be brilliant. I need urgent help for my child and have nowhere to turn.
