My mother, who has Alzheimer’s, fell at home and broke her wrist. My brother and I took her to Mid Ulster Minor Injuries Unit where she was seen right away. She was given fantastic care and attention by all the staff, x rayed very quickly and had a cast applied to her broken wrist.
This is five star service and really shows what can be delivered by the NHS. It sets a benchmark for others to aspire to.
