"She made the experience special"

I recently had appointments for both bloods and in the Maternity Scanning Department at Wishaw Hospital, and I want to express my sincere thanks for the exceptional care I received.

Diane, in the bloods department was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. I went in feeling extremely anxious - physically sick with nerves - but she took her time to make sure I felt calm and comfortable before taking my bloods. She was so empathetic and reassuring, and I can honestly say it was the best blood-taking experience I’ve ever had.

Carol, in the Maternity Scanning Department, was equally so so wonderful and an amazing expert. She was so informative throughout the 20-week scan, keeping us updated with key information and helping us learn so much about our baby girl. She made the experience special, welcoming, and memorable! 

I also want to mention the reception team at the maternity ward - every single person we encountered has been warm, friendly, and welcoming.

Thank you to everyone involved for making this such a positive experience so far (from one very medically anxious lady!).  We can't wait to welcome our little girl into the world with you!
