Recently, mid November I accompanied my very stressed 19 year old daughter to Monklands Hospital when having a procedure to remove a mole. My daughter is the worst imaginable patient and is terrified of needles. She pretty much ran away at a previous appointment when the needle came out.
I was worried that my daughter would again ‘bottle out’ of the procedure and this would have happened again if not for the incredible patience and professionalism of Dr Shaffrali and equally fantastic nurse (sorry I never picked up the nurses name due to my focus on my daughter). I was allowed into the room to help keep her calm but it was the doctor and nurse that somehow got a terrified young girl through the procedure.
I often read how poor the NHS has become but this recent experience with my daughter and my own experiences prove that the people that work in the NHS are just as wonderful as ever.
My grateful thanks to the team at Dr Freida’s clinic.
