I suffered a stroke August 2025.
It seems I was lucky in that the only damage was to my speech which rapidly improved after the event but remained an issue during recovery.
The stroke team have been available to me and greatly appreciated for their ability and attitude.
Most important is being able to talk to a professional who understands.
