On an evening in November, my wife was admitted into Ward 4 of Perth Royal Infirmary with severe nausea and abdominal pains.
She was thoroughly examined overnight with a diagnosis formed by mid afternoon the following day. She was immediately transferred to Ninewells in Dundee where she underwent surgery.
Thankfully the surgery was successful and she is now recovering well at home. From admission at Perth to the completion of her operation at Ninewells took around 24 hours and I am very impressed by the professionalism and care shown by all the staff on Ward 4 at PRI and Ward 11 at Ninewells during her recovery.
