"Delay in hip procedure"

About: Trauma & orthopaedics / Orthopaedic Outpatient Department

(as the patient),

After two x-rays, then a steroid injection finally got a MRI in December 2023.

March 2024 met with consultant to go over MRI results where it was agreed that a hip procedure was the best option and told the operation would be done within nine months.

June 2024, had my operation pre-assessment since then, disappointedly I have heard nothing including no response to a formal letter and an email both sent earlier this year.

It's having an impact on my physical wellbeing and mental health.
