"Wasted time"

I was notified by the NHS via email that I needed to book a flu vaccination. I was advised that my local surgery had no more flu vaccines available and was not going to have any more, so I booked an appointment online at the the nearest available location. I duly made the 30 minute journey to arrive at the appointed time, only to be told when I reported in that they had no more flu jabs. No apology was offered, nor an explanation of why the booking had been made when they did not have the vaccine available. Since my appointment was early afternoon, with several other slots following it, I can only assume that other patients had the same experience after me. A very cavalier attitude to customers' time and resources.
