"Such a calm and friendly atmosphere"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Clinical Haematology (Clinic P)

(as the patient),

I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and was advised that I would be having chemotherapy then surgery and radiotherapy. Very shocking news as I was feeling completely fine and had no symptoms.

The staff at the New Victoria went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe.

There was such a calm and friendly atmosphere that made the treatment I was receiving more bearable.

Dear Bob Smith

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, especially during what we know must have been an extremely difficult and unexpected time for you. A cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming, particularly when it comes as a complete shock, and we are truly glad to hear that you felt supported throughout your treatment.

Your kind words about the staff at the New Victoria Hospital are deeply appreciated. The team strives to create a calm, reassuring, and compassionate environment for everyone receiving care, and it is heartening to know that this made your chemotherapy more manageable and helped you feel safe and comfortable.

Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback. We will ensure your comments are passed on to the staff, who will be encouraged to know the positive impact they had on your experience. We send you our very best wishes as you continue through your treatment and recovery.

Kind regards

Kevin
