(as the patient),

I required emergency contraception and felt extremely anxious and embarrassed to contact the service. Calling was easy and I was felt at ease from the start. I had a telephone consultation with a Doctor who arranged a same day appointment for a copper coil fitting. The Doctor and assistant who were present for the coil fitting were incredibly kind, patient and gentle with me. Everything was explained at every stage of the appointment. I felt at ease despite feeling scared and the care shown to me was exemplary.

Through this difficult procedure I was made to feel respected and cared for at every step. I can’t thank the team enough for helping me.
