To the Head and Neck Dieticians team at Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford), thank you for all your hard work and commitment during my 7 week treatment package of Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy.
I would like to begin by expressing my gratitude for each and every member of your team, Amy, Gemma, Lorna and Steph. Throughout my seven weeks, the team have made me feel heard and seen which has been empowering for me and has given me my voice during treatment. The team have always been extremely professional while developing a relationship with me. Helping me learn how to manage throughout my journey. Their positive attitudes have helped pick me during my darkest days, and I think this speaks volumes about the wonderful people in the team. I will remain forever in awe at the quality of the treatment I have received.
There are not the words to portray my thanks, however I wholeheartedly thank you. And although I never wished to be in this situation, this wonderful team have made my journey so much easier and it’s comforting knowing there is such teams to support me and future generations with their cancer journey.
