"Patience and kindness"

About: Altnagelvin Area Hospital / Ward 3 (ENT, Elective, short stay surgery)

(as a relative),

Our (75 year old) mother had to be admitted to Ward 3, Altnagelvin Hospital in preparation for a colonoscopy.  Our mother was extremely anxious and afraid.  This was because of a previous bad experience she had in the past (on a different ward).

Thank you to all the staff on Ward 3, Altnagelvin Hospital and in particular Kim and Mary for their patience and kindness to Mum.  You all treated Mum with great respect and dignity and supported her throughout her admission.  She received excellent care and Mum was kept up to date in all that was happening throughout her stay.  Thank you all
